11.75''x17.25'' pencils and white paint onto stiff brown-colored cardboard.

In hand particularly the maiden's eyes and smile truely are outstanding. ...Only secondly joined by the supple elegant posture choice, very accurate nuances of whites, and of course winsome endless abundant hair nicely waving seemingly everywhere but anyhow still in the same time coherently with the lady's general slow moves.

Am not necessarily steadily fan of Lemercier, but I got to say this one illustration's just got me !
