Original study for a Festival Québec ex-libris illustration. Featuring Dorothy "Dottie" Partington, the well known Berthet 'Pin-up' character.
I tend to like this prelim a lil' better than the final inks.  :)

As far-fetched as I kinda always found the comic series, I have always hopelessly found in the same time deeply classy Berthet's stroke onto its main character. Be her ponytailed, blackhaired (vol. 1-3), short haired (vol. 4-6), or long haired (vol. 7-9)...
