Description

Axa : the Adopted (story for Eclipse standard comic book n°1, april 1987) page 15 original by Enrique Romero.
10"x14.5" pencils then inked.
After the 1985 Eclipse color album and its exquisite format, Romero came back to classical pen and ink only artistry for comic pages, with abit simpler watercolors for the published issue, here confided to Marcus David. This choice will more or less stay constant afterwards...

Axa and Matt have just saved a group of kids from an attack of the "engineers", a clan of marauders ruled by the beastly Bloodmoon. But the latter strikes back the day after and manages to capture Axa during the battle.
